Complaints & Accountability
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. If you have concerns about your experience at Farmhouse Counseling, please follow the steps below to communicate your complaint or request assistance.
How to File a Complaint
- Direct Communication: If you feel safe, please discuss your concern directly with your therapist. Many issues can be resolved through open communication.
- Contact Our Team: If you prefer, you may email phegley.jonette@gmail.com with the subject line "Complaint." We will respond within 2 business days.
State Licensing Board
If your concern is not resolved, you may file a complaint with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC), which oversees Licensed Professional Counselors in Texas.
Records Requests
To request your health care records, please provide a written request (email is acceptable) specifying the records you wish to receive and who may receive them. Records will be provided within 15 business days, subject to reasonable copying/mailing fees (not to exceed $115). Records cannot be withheld due to unpaid bills. If releasing records could cause harm, a written explanation will be provided.
